Aims of this session
- To understand what is self-esteem and why is it important.
- To think about the value we hold for ourselves and those we manage.
- To explore how increasing self-esteem can be a springboard for transforming the staff in our care.
- To consider ways in which we can be part of staff realising their intrinsic worth.
Session outcomes
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Reflect on why self-esteem is important.
- Have space to consider our and others’ value.
- Understand how good self-esteem can empower us to move forwards in life.
- Reflect on ways to increase our confidence and that of our staff.
